Accessing My Cytel - Federated Users

You can access the My Cytel portal by clicking Login on the Cytel website main menu, portal URL or the knowledge base.

Federated SSO

Cytel supports federated Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing your organization to implement federated SSO to access Cytel products. Federated SSO will enable you to access the My Cytel portal and all your active Cytel cloud product subscriptions using your corporate credentials.

For example, if AnyCorp, a Cytel customer, opts for federated SSO, then their employee named Joe Smith can authenticate to the My Cytel portal with the corporate email address joe.smith@anycorp.com and the associated password. After logging in to the portal, Joe can launch Cytel cloud products (with an active subscription) without logging in again.

Cytel uses Okta to manage federated SSO access. At points in the sign-up and log-in process you may see communications from or be directed to Okta sites.

For New Federated SSO Users

After portal access is provided for you, you will receive an email containing your new credentials.

1. Go to the My Cytel site and click SIGN IN.

                                                                                         

2. Enter your corporate email address in the Username field.

            
    

3. Select the Remember me checkbox to auto-populate the username from your next login.
   This step is optional.

4. Click Next.

5. On your organization’s identity provider (IdP) page, select corporate account, enter your password (if prompted), and click Sign In.
   As a federated SSO user, you cannot use the Forgot Password? function to change your password. If necessary, work with your corporate IT team to reset your corporate password.

6. You will be redirected to the multi-factor verification screen. Verify your email.

7. Click on Send Code/Send Push.

8. Enter the code received and click Verify. You will be redirected to the My Cytel landing page.

9. If you are an Enterprise Administrator, you will have access to the Admin menu to perform administrative activities for your organization.

10. If you are assigned to a product, then you will be able to launch that product directly from the portal landing page without logging in again.
